Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation. PG, 1 hr 25 min. Movie More Info. Mavis surprises Dracula with plans for a fun-filled summer voyage on a monster cruise. As the pack starts enjoying colossal buffets and exotic excursions, Drac finds himself falling for the ship's intriguing but dangerous captain. Hotel Transylvania 3's storyline is kind of just a reverse of the original (this time it's the dad falling in love with a human, with the daughter being overprotective about the situation), but it will be more than enough to amuse fans of the franchise.
Well, this is my third movie in 7 years and we had some new artists and some returning ones. We were, for the most part, a smooth animation making machine! The addition of Scott Wills as Production Designer and Christian Schellewald as Art Director took us to a new level, as well as being able to leave the hotel and see more of the monster side of things.

Craig Kellman as our lead Character Designer outdid himself with Ericka and Van Helsing. The old Van Helsing design is one of the most disturbing and funny designs we've ever done! Hopefully, audiences will enjoy him as much as we have!
We had the highest number of animators on this movie than the other two and I worried that the quality would suffer but Alan Hawkins, our Animation Supervisor, lead the team to a stellar performance and I could not be more proud of the work that we did. A new level of CG cartoony absurdness!!
