FortiClient is available for multiple platforms: Microsoft’s Windows (anything from XP onward), Apple’s desktop operating system Mac OS X (Snow Leopard or newer) and mobile operating system iOS (5.1 or higher), and Google’s mobile OS Android (Ice Cream Sandwich and newer).
You can access all the application’s features and functions from the FortiClient console. In the upper left hand corner of the console you will see a traditional File Menu. Below you will see a panel with three large buttons: AntiVirus, Parental Control, and Remote Access.
When it is installed on a Windows-powered machine, FortiClient provides easy access to the following features: run-on demand scans and choose between several types of scans (quick, full, or custom scan), real-time protection against viruses and other threats; web filter to block access to certain types of content; remote access via VPN; automatic updates; logs; and more.
